This is Dr. Helena Rosenthal of the IAS research team stationed on the Lingshan Islands. We... The North Koreans have assumed control. They are rounding up civilians outside! We found something... buried in the rock. This discovery could change the future of the planet. The Koreans don't know what they're dealing with...

That is the beginning of the long anticipated game Crysis. You are about to be thrown (literally) into a world filled with monsters and bloodthirsty soldiers. Although Crysis is not a direct sequel to FarCry, is worthy of its ancestry: the game leads us to tropical islands, warm waters and remote facilities, hidden in the thick forest.

The world of Crysis is definitely more well-designed world then th one in FarCry. In Crysis there also are objects in the buildings and they also look quite deserted, but here they are more varied in shape and location. The game designers must think that North Koreans are untidy people, because in their houses there are a lot of abandoned newspapers, alcohol bottles, overturned chairs, hanging Chinese lanterns, a cane-stools and baskets, bottles of mineral water, cardboard boxes with fruits, a empty tins and so on. The physical model is very good - practically every object, even the living creatures like chickens, can be taken by the player and tossed with great strength.

The tropical islands Lingshan where the action is laid looks very realistic. The motion of the leafs and the branches of the trees is natural, but in the real world their motions are more unidirectional and varied.
