BioShock Review: ContinuedEven more fantastic beings then them are the Little Sisters and Big Daddies. Little Sisters are created to extract ADAM from the dead. And Big Daddies are their bodyguards and they are dressed in deep-diving suits. They always go together and the player must kill the Big Daddy (or run away if he does not have enough ammo). The Big Daddy is hard to kill if you do not have Grenade Launcher but once it is killed, the player receives ADAM, needed for better genetic modifications. Then the choice about the Little Sister is coming: Rescue or Harvest. I want go in more details here but it is an interesting option. In fact all creatures, inhabiting Rapture are people but they are biologically mutated. The splicers endured too many biological modifications and they become mentally deranged. There are still some normal (not excessive mutated) folks in the city. Normally, they won't kill the player but want favors to allow you to progress further in the game. Of course, on his or her way to some mission, the player needs to buy the most possible quantity of ammunitions, genetic upgrades, and weapons upgrades. Vending Machine, Gatherer's Garden, and Gene Bank are the machines for this. Through U-Invent can assemble munitions if the machine has the suitable objects. In the game there are even machines that tell fortunes and such for gambling. The billiards table and the jukeboxes also not missing. Accidentally, you can find a lot of cash in the registers. You should not spend your money for a chips, an alcohol, cigarettes, and chocolate wafers. These objects litter everywhere on the rooms and they increase the health. Two bottles of alcohol make the player to stagger and hiccup like drunk. This effect is very amusing but it is not useful at combat situations. Unlike the other goodies, the gene upgrades unlike can be bought only with ADAM. EVE, on its hand is another kind of main resource in the BioShock. It acts as a fuel for plasmids and is used in the form of a hypo. Except in the vending machines, the serum can be found on a table or couch, and also in dead bodies. In general, the more difficult to kill splicers carry more goods in themselves. Rubbers, distilled water, batteries, alcohol drinks and cigarettes, brass pipe, kerosene, steel screws, money, and so on. The list can be endless. For the construction, for example, of Electric gel x25 you will need 3 bottles of distilled water, 2 batteries, and 1 alcohol bottle. Exploding Buck x3 are one of cartridges for shotgun and you will need 3 kerosene canisters, 2 shell casings, and 1 steel screw to construct them. Each weapon in BioShock (without the wrench) contains three types of ammunitions. In addition to various arms, the player is also "armed" with a photographic camera. It is especially useful for some missions when it's necessary to take a picture of the killed bad guys.
